The Norton Ghost uses a technology that is known as Disk Imaging. It is a process used to create an exact copy of a hard drive’s contents. In early computing days, such applications were mainly used by system administrators, programmers, and other hardcore techies. But now, applications like the Ghost have seeped into the computer of common users as well.
