Easy to Use VNC Software

When i was on vacation i tried to get a friend to setup VNC on my home PC over the phone so i could access it via internet. But the hardest part of setting up a Remote Desktop is getting the clients configured.

This is espically viable for anyone who has to do techsupport for grandma over the phone, its so much easier to take a look yourself and fix it instead of guessing what they are looking at

so here are some VERY EASY TO USE clients that make vnc a breeze. via Lifehacker.com

CrossLoopConnect to and take control of another PC with CrossLoop, quite possibly the easiest remote-access tool on the planet..Just install the small CrossLoop app on your PC, then have the person on the other PC do the same. A few clicks and you’re securely connected, able to see and interact with the other PC (though not transfer files). It does require a person to be at the other end, so you can’t use it for unattended remote access.

CrossLoopiRemotePC beats CrossLoop in the feature department, offering chat, file transfers, folder synchronization, PC monitoring (as opposed to control) and even guest access (meaning you can invite others to connect to your PC for live presentations, demos, etc.).

Interestingly, only the host PC requires the iRemotePC software. To connect to that machine, you simply log in via the iRemotePC site. That means i can control my Home PC via firefox on my MacBookPro from work
