Embedding Google Videos
While creating my potrfolio pages for the final project i realised that i wanted to embed streaming flash videos to showcase my 3d and Digital Video projects, and i figured out how to embed them using google videos. This way i dont have to setup a streaming flash video server, google pays for the bandwidth and my work is searchable through google, with links pointing back to my website.

Step 1 - Getting the videos up on Google

First I read through the Video Upload Instructions from Google Videos and uploaded my videos to Google Videos.
Getting your videos to Google involves
- Downloading and installing the Google Video Uploader, which can be found at the instruction page.
- Logging into your account and uploading the videos.
- Filling in details and description on the google videos site
- Waiting for verification - most people claim this process takes between 2 days to a week.
Once you have your videos up on google you can go to the next step, embedding them to your page.
Step 2 - Embedding the video on your own page.
A quick google search on embedding videos got me to HOW TO Quickie: Embedded Google Videos. But the website they referred to [downloadgooglevideos.com] got shut down due to a google policy violation, so someone wrote a new guide on how-to embed google videos @ Step by Step Guide to embedding Google Videos
