Tingelets are a set of bookmarklets that you can place in your browsers bookmark bar. When clicked, they highlight a certain tag or set of tags in a specific color .
Basically just snippets of Javascript that run on top of the currently viewed page to highlight specific objects in the markup
For example i could run the tinge-h bookmarklet which would highlight every h on the page
This is much faster and easier than viewing the source or using the “Display Element Info” with the web developer toolbar.
I really recommend you watch the screencast on their website to get a good idea.

If you are going to use them i really recommend setting up a subfolder on top of your Bookmarks Toolbar, this makes them easily accessible.
